Sound For My Trailer...

I think that the soundtrack to a teaser trailer is important because it helps to intensify the mood and atmosphere of the movie. Also it adds to understanding what the representation of the movie is.

These are the following tracks that I may be using in my final media project. The reason why I have decided to use these because i think that they are syncronus to the the moving image also I think that they will intensify the situation. Also most of the sound that is going to be used is non diegetic. Also there is going to be a lot of dialogue in my movie. The reason behind me using a lot of dialogue in my movie is because i want people to be able to understand the narrative of the movie without having to see much of the movie as teasers tend to be shorter than theatrical trailer. The dialogue is going to come from the girl but not directly from the scene but a voice over instead. The movie Twilight uses this throughout the film as the movie is narrated through the girl and i want this movie to be about that.

A common feature that is used in most teaser trailers are voice overs normally from a male voice telling people who is starring in the movie and when it is due and also some common facts about the movie such as who is the director. In my teaser I'm going to use a male voice over to help move the plot along and aslo telling the common facts of the movie.

The music that I have decided to use was inspired by the folk/acoustic music genre. I think that these types of music genre are mostly used to bring out some kind of an emotion and I think that they will do well to add emphasis the sad nature of my movie.
When selecting what soundtrack to use for my teaser I was inspired by bands such as Bon Iver and Grizzly Bear.

Here are the tracks thats I have decided to use for my Teaser
